So it's been a hell of a long time since I dabbled with Gaming Rigs, and have been out of the scene for a while.

Looking to put together something on a tight budget that will perform on Normal settings on newer titles (Mostly DOTA, LoL, CS:GO played so no need for stella GPU performance) and video editing.

My last PC bit the bucket recently so I have a few spare parts but would like firstly, a check measure that the components i've chosen will work together, and secondly, that they will be fit for purpose.

CPU: Intel Skylake I5-6400 2.7GHz
GPU: Have a ASUS Geforce GT730 to hand (will change to a 950 at some point)
Mobo: MSI B150M Bazooka
PSU: Thermaltake Tr2 Challenger 500w
RAM: HyperX FURY Black Series 8GB DDR4 2133MHz
Case: Thermaltake Versa H15 m-atx
Optical: Have a drive to hand
HDD: WD Digital Caviar Blue 1TB (Standard choice)

1) Will the above work in cohesion?
2) Any common suggestions? ie. AMD Mobo and CPU instead?
3) I have 8GB of DDR3 RAM to hand, would 16GB DDR3 be more fit for purpose than 8GB of DDR4?

Any advice is greatly appreciated :).

So about £400. I have 8GB of DDR3 RAM from a prebuilt PC I had previously so this could potentially be factored in, and I wouldn't need a GPU for now, more than content to run the GT 730 I have here for a while :)

No preference to Intel or AMD either :)

Latest intel i3 processor will be more than enough for your games . Lets you add a more powerful graphics card and boost image quality . Storage is a little light at 120 gig on the SSD bt you can add another hard drive later
