Solution
first you have really good gpu (gtx960) which perform really well in 1080p resolution .almost all games above 45fps . . so you don't need to worry about it . just buy 1080p monitor .. second . you can also set 1920x1080 resolution in your 1440x900 monitor but you know you will not feel what actually feels in true full hd 1080p monitor .. so go and buy full hd 1080p monitor and enjoy gaming with your gtx960

I don't get that as best answer ? first the monitor has to be able to support any resolutions you want to use why I said look at the monitors spec's

the higher you go in res. at the same game settings you will most likely get a fps hit higher res = more demand from the card and lower fps [look at any card benchmarks to se that...

gtx 960 is fine at 1080 but mat suffer as you go up get better as you go down ??? 800x600 120 fps then 1080 maybe 75 fps at the same game settings ??
