Internet connection to my desktop is slow to non-existent even though it's supposed to be super fast! Dell has no wifi so connect via Ethernet using TP Link and house mains. Router works fine with wifi to other devices and network adaptor is working and up-to-date.
I keep getting a message that running a 'script on this page' is causing Internet to run slow, click yes to stop running the script. However whether I click yes or no doesn't appear to do anything or solve the problem. I also get a 'script, error message about the same 'character' on the same 'line'.
What are these 'scripts' and how do I get rid of the errors and will this solve the connection problem?
