This isn't a problem specific to Windows 10, it's been happening since Windows 8. Randomly I'll get a BSOD when waking my computer from sleep, with different errors each time. The crash dumps always point to a driver problem but never specifies which except once (NVIDIA driver). I don't think that NVIDIA driver is the overall problem since this issue has been going on for 3 years. My PC specs are:

  • Windows 10
    Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD4H
    16 GB Corsair Vengeance RAM
    EVGA GTX 980

Here are the dumps:

Hi,

I would suggest uninstalling/reinstalling the latest graphics card driver from NVIDIA support site.
- First do try to uninstall/reinstall the graphics card driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the graphics card driver.
- Next is to check Programs and Features and uninstall anything related to NVIDIA graphics card.
- Once done, download and install the latest graphics driver from the manufacturers site. (NVIDIA).
- After installing the latest driver reboot your PC for all the changes to take effect.
- Set NVIDIA as the default card after the reboot.

- Do also run Windows Update and install all updates available.
