Need help, looking for a great gaming monitor for around $150

I'm building a gaming computer and wondering what monitor is the best for gaming at around $150, so far I'm thinking the Asus vx238h, it looks very good for its price and has good specs. If there are any other monitors better then this or similar to this but with ips, then please let me know.

This is an open box monitor so I'm not sure if that will dissuade you. But it's a little larger than the one you're looking at and it's slightly cheaper.

you would need to look into referbs or openbox items because its not quite right for price, i would consider gaming monitors to have some from of variable refresh either gsync or freesync and those cost a little more than that, otherwise just search for monitors with a low response time and find reviews that cover their input lag as well, i would save up for a variable refresh monitor tho imo because it can get more life out of graphics cards depending on which brand you prefer and also are generally a higher quality.
