Screen turns black, pc still running

Okay so this problem appeared yesterday, happened about 2 times. But today its been a seriously annoying problem it have happened about 8 times in an hour. screen turns black randomly, pc is still running but i cant connect back without restarting my computer via the reset button...

Specs:

i7-4790
16gb
Asus VII Hero motherboard
2x 980 Ti's in SLI
1000W Corsair RM powersupply

and my monitor is an Acer XB270HU
i have tried updating every driver possible, yet the damn problem still is here.

can you plug in your monitor to the motherboard video connector to see what happens?

I think my powersupply is fucked, pc randomly turns off and on now... and "powersupply surge" came often before i turned it off
