I just installed windows 10 on my windows 7 pc and I get to the setup for windows 10 and whenever I press next it doesn't do anything then it crashes and it starts over. I click next again same thing happens

Solution
Go into you bios of the motherboard.

Go to the Sata options of it.

If the Sata mode is set to Sata, or Raid.

Change the mode to AHCI mode.

Save the changes before you exit the bios.

Install windows 10.
Drives should now show in the selection box on the page where you are asked where, or what drive you wish to install windows 10 to.

NB: If there are no drives listed or detected, at the point where windows asks what hard drive you wish to install windows 10 on.
In the drive list options it means, the Sata interface mode in the bios needs to be changed.

Otherwise you end up with a looping of the install process.
