Opinions on a chess board wanted

Looking for a fold-able chessboard that looks nice and will play well. If you're got suggestions keep in mind that the quality of the board is more important than pieces for me, I'm fine with replacing them.

Im not relly sure that this is the right forum for this
In the end i guess it comes down to which one you prefer, personally i like the rosewood one better

Agree - Rosewood looks better.

However, I foresee problems with pieces in both halves and trying to close it up. Especially when you get to the point where the pieces no longer fit in as tight.

Walnut storage method is better but not seeing any latches on the box.

Both boxes have cloth hinges....

I would look around a bit more - budget a bit higher if at all possible. Buy where you can go "hands on" and inspect the product and workmanship directly.

You could have somebody make you the chessboard out of Woodsmith volume 223. That is a classy chessboard.
