I'm sorry if this has been asked before:
I'm trying to install win7 64bit pro (legit) on z97 extreme6/a/asrk onto a corsair force ssd.

the windows (win7 64bit pro) setup doesnt even load, after the textmode progressbar and the "starting windows" message the installer initiates a reboot (no errors shown).

details:
i have tried from a usb drive (an ISO (which i used before) and the Windows 7 USB DVD Download Tool) and i also have an extrnal DVD drive (Samsung se-208 with latest firmware). I've tried the USB2.0 port (labeled USB1).
My DVD is in top condition, the usb-drive works on an other machine. I've tried IDE and AHCI controller settings in BIOS. I couldn't find legacy/non uefi boot settings in bios.
The SSD is formatted and unpartitioned.
I'd appreciate the "windows has not found CD/DVD drivers" error, but I don't even get that far.
Thank you for any help!

I never recommend the usb install due to there all ways was issues to pop up doing things like that

now look at this and wonder if all this affects you today no matter what platform you using the usb install on ??

''Microsoft is removing support for the EHCI host controller (USB 2.0 spec) and keeping only the xHCI host controller spec (also known as the universal USB 3.0 specification). While the USB 3.0 spec is backward compatible with most USB 2.0 and 1.0 functions, installing windows 7 via USB will not be one of them
