Sound cuts out after 5-10 mins of playing audio

After around 5-10 mins of playing audio from a game or a video, audio will completely stop. The only way to fix this that I've found is either restart or unplug and repluging my headphones. Playing audio through the monitor yields the same issue so its unlikely my headphones are the problem.

Running on Windows 10
Using Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma headphones

Tried doing a virus check with no result.
Tried a total disconnect from power.
Just about to try uninstalling my sound drivers and having windows update them.

Hi,

Please do try to uninstall/reinstall the sound card driver of your PC that may do the trick.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Sound card driver.
- Next is to download and install the latest driver from the manufacturer site of your PC or motherboard.
- Once installed do test it again and see if the same problem will persist or not.
- Do also run Windows Update and install all the latest update there is.
- Check if there's also a BIOS update for your motherboard and install it.
- If all these will not work you may need to reinstall Windows 10.
