I've been looking for two good monitors for a dual monitor setup.

I've narrowed it down to

I was wondering which one would be overall a better monitor.

I'm trying to stay under $200 preferably closer to under the $175 mark for each of the monitors in my dual monitor setup.

Right now I believe 60hz would be enough for me for now. I might be upgrading to better monitors something like 27" 144hz refresh rate, etc, but that won't be for about another year at the least.

I've heard that for 1080p 24" would provide the best picture vs a 27" 1080p monitor. Is it true?

Or any suggestions for better monitors around my price range?

Also on a side note, is a dual monitor stand worth buying or is it just an issue of desk space would justify buying a dual monitor stand?

I've been hearing about IPS monitors for picture quality. I guess the main thing I'm hesitant about is the slower response times. The one question I guess would solve that is if 6ms vs 2 ms response times would make much of a difference in my gaming experience? Would faster response times only matter if you were playing fast paced games like FPS like CS/BF/CoD. As of right now I mainly play LoL and probably WoW in the future. Even with those games mentioned I might eventually go back into the newer games like Far Cry, etc. Would faster response times make that much of a difference in games like that?

The slightly faster gray to gray is not worth the compromise of color reproduction and viewing angles. Stick with ips unless your getting a really high end tn Panel (like ROG swift).

For overall video quality would you suggest a 24" IPS @1080p or a 27" IPS @ 1080p?
