Hi,
So I've been looking around for a nice 4k 3D tv and found this great Panasonic: http://ao.com/product/tx40cx400b-panasonic-tv-black-36839-108.aspx

The problem is that my gtx 980 only has a mini hdmi and 3x minidisplayport, while that tv has only 2 full hdmi. Would I be able to still get 4k on 2d mode? And at 30 or 60hz? How do i do this!?

Oh, and if anyone knows a good place to get universal rechargeable 3D glasses for the tv i wouldn't mind knowing where :)

Just get a mini-HDMI to HDMI lead (or adaptor)..? Mini-HDMI and HDMI are the same, the plug's just a different size. HDMI supports 4k at 60fps.

E.g.: http://www.amazon.co.uk/KabelDirekt-Cable-1080p-Speed-Ethernet/dp/B004XQM0DW/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics-accessories&ie=UTF8&qid=1455354234&sr=1-1&keywords=mini-hdmi+to+hdmi (I have the standard full-size HDMI version of one of these connecting my upscaling Blu-Ray player to my 4K TV, and it's been fine)

Crawled through the Web this week and found out my gpu port is hdmi 2.0 so I'll use an adapter as you say.

Your cable suggestion doesn't 'specifically' state it supports 60hz (not fps..) at 2160p, and it says hdmi 2 compatible, which I have heard is not the same as compliant.

I'm not a pro, so this is an honest question, are you sure the TV isn't upscaling and the cable doesn't take UHD content at all?

Ps, I'll probably be getting this Amazon basic cable
