I upgraded to windows 10 yesterday, and now my local external Serial ATA drive won't stay in the file manager "This PC".
It started since upgrading. In the event viewer it says "Disk 0 has been surprise removed". if I power off the external drive and back on, it will repair but then disappear again.
But - get this.. i've added it to the Quick Access, and it works fine from there.. How do I get it to remain in the "This PC" area. The same thing is actually happening with a network mapped drive to my NAS..
The drive is within a Star Tech Infosave Raid drive using a Silicon Image Sil 3531 s-ata card.. has worked for years under windows 7..
