Will a 144HZ Monitor be worth?

Well, most fast TN panels sell for $140, so getting the 144Hz one adds $100. A 970 will give you decent results too. If you play a lot of fps gaming then yes get it. If not, don't.

Why not?

It's subjective. It can't make you a better player, but it will reduce blur due to the higher refresh rate, and eliminate it completely if you use Lightboost. It will make everything appear smoother though.

You're asking someone that take picture quality over anything else. You should try it, and return it if it's not for you, buy from Amazon, or any other good site. Don't go cheaper than the VG248QE in my opinion.

If you play the fast fps games then yes get that Asus 144Hz monitor. If you play slower games and want better colors and depth then get a IPS panel monitor.

Yes! For that kind of game IPS is better and IPS is better for movies and all other viewing. TN panels are lower in cost and great for fps gaming, but for LoL I wouldn't buy a fast TN panel. Instead get a good quality IPS panel monitor. I like Dell monitors but there are lots of good choices. What's your budget?
