Pc freezing when booting up

My pc boots up and loads to my home screen, the icons all load up but the computer freezes, I can still move the mouse around and click on icons but nothing happens. There is a constant loading symbol for my mouse cursor. I managed to get it into safe mode once and ran a virus scan and it detected nothing. Thanks

You might want to try a system restore prior to when the issue cropped up. If you can boot into OS with a functioning keyboard, you might also want to look into performing a repair install.

Might I ask what your full systems specs are? Is this installation of Windows 10 based off a licence key or the free upgrade path?
