locking for the best monitor for graphic design under $300 if possible thank you for anyone that help!

24" - 27" inch range

Look no further than Dell Ultrasharp monitors, you can usually get a U2417 for under $300 (http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=bsd&cs=04&sku=210-AHGF). Better monitors will be in the $550 range (including 4K monitors that are amazing for graphic design) though, so know that your price range is mostly for low end stuff.

That panel is VA. IPS would be superior in my opinion.

PVA/VA/IPS isn't as big an issue (all much better than TN), but the nasty screen uniformity on that one is. Can't get any info on your suggestion, but none of those are really meant for graphic design, just gaming....

Rabmac... just stop.... The post was about graphic design, and all of your picks are just about garbage for that.

Well, of course. At this price point, you won't be able to find a true professional grade monitor. IPS is better than any VA panel in my opinion due to the poor view angles that VA panels tend to have.

Compared to TN... PVA~=IPS, VA~=eIPS, but both are better than TN for color rendition. As for price point, the U2417 is about as close to professional grade as you can get. It's no U2413 PremierColor (http://www.dell.com/ed/business/p/dell-u2413/pd), but also only about half the price.

If you can stretch your budget to $350, the U2412M is an excellent monitor that is almost professional grade (http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=320-2676), though it's been mostly supplanted by the 2417 and both should have similar color rendition when calibrated (butthe 2417 will have higher contrast)
