Yeah that sums it up. How do I become a master at something?

Answering questions and being picked as best answer. With enough solutions, you will be a master in that given category.

assuming you mean how to become a master on toms,the first answer is correct.if you mean how do you master something in general,well,you do it for a long time,take some training,and get good at it.when your better than most i guess you could call yourself a master.

assuming you mean badges/titles on the forum as that is only what applies here.

be knowledgeable and offer correct helpful advice and have your solutions selected as best answers. eventually you will get all of the badges. if you are just a beginner at tech then stay around and learn from the experts and eventually you will be knowledgeable enough to post answers and be an expert.

you can of course be an expert at a given topic without having a badge here. the badge only signifies how much time/effort you have put into helping others here and how many of your answers were considered correct or best.

Lots of time and willingness to help others and google reasearch. You will learn as time goes on. I spend at least an hour here everyday. I only have 2 master badges and have been a member since 2010. Actually 6 years to this day, Just checked!
