Extremely Slow PC (Windows 10-64 bit)

So, I have been running this PC that I build several years back. Very recently, it has been running extremely slowly. The only things that I have changed recently have been the OS (upgraded to Windows 10 64-bit) and I also upgraded the RAM from 4 gb to 8 gb. I expected the computer to speed up, but instead it has become painfully slow. I use it to run League of Legends and it is giving me major fps drops. I just did a Windows Restart (Clean restore) and the computer has gotten even slower. Any suggestions?

What did you upgrade from? Upgrading can cause probs. If you mean reset thats not the same as a clean install

I believe it was also Windows 10 or maybe 8, but it was the 32-bit version. I only recently upgraded to the 64-bit version of windows 10. I noticed the computer slowing down after I upgraded my ram from 2x2 GB to 2X4 GB DDR3 sticks. I am currently defragmenting my hard drive to see if that is causing the issue. Any troubleshooting tips?

Hopefully you did a clean install because you can't upgrade from 32 to 64 bit

Your hdd isnt an SSD is it?? Because you dont defrag them

I think I did do a clean install. The problem started when I upgraded my ram to 8 GB and upgraded Windows 10 from 32 bit to 64 bit. It is a 4-5 year old hard drive (not solid state), but apparently it's at 100% health.
