Can't get my 3 displays working at the same time

Hey, I'm trying to connect 3 displays to my PC with a R9 270X. I have 2 monitors connected by DVI-D and DVI-I to VGA and my TV connected through HDMI. I wish to extend these 3 displays but it won't allow me to save the configuration in control panel and only seems to allow any 2 displays to be extended at once. All drivers seem to be updated, and I've tried fiddling about in CCC to no avail. Where am i going wrong? My GPU also has a slot for displayport, would it work if I connected one of the displays through this instead?

You will need to use the DP output to get more than 2 displays at the same time on this GPU. If you need an adapter, make sure you buy an active one. A passive adapter will keep you limited to 2 displays.
