game crashes with new system

I just started playing games on my new system:

Thermaltake Core v71 case
corsair rm1000x PSU
AMD 9590 CPU
MSI 990fxa gaming motherboard
EVGA GeForce 980 gtx gpu
16 gb g.skill trident x RAM
corsair h100i gtx closed loop water cooler
samsung 850 evo SSD
ASUS optical drive

I have recently been playing games like warframe and CS:GO, and I can play very smoothly with good graphic stats. However, my game tends to crash after a while of playing. I would expect my system to have the power, but maybe not. Is it my pc strength or is it something else?

1) Have you tried reinstalling the drivers?
2) Have you checked the temperatures?
