Bought a benq xl2411z monitor which is 24'' six days ago and im glad i bought this monitor. There's nothing wrong with it but i wanna change it with a 27'' one. The thing is i'm planning to buy xl2720z. Price ain't that different. I can afford it but what concerns me is it's being 1080p. Searched a lot of forums but couldn't find any clear answers that makes me ''ok go buy that monitor''. Actually any owners out there can tell me Is the 1080p resolution causes a low quality image on a 27 '' monitor and benq xl2720z sorts that out or it's same as every other monitor with 1080p 27''? I'll use it for mostly rpg and fps games and such. The reason why i don't wanna buy a 2k 144 hz one because i don't think gtx 970 will handle those 120 and 144 hz on a 2 k monitor. Imo i won't be reaching 120fps on 2k resolution.
Shall i wait for 2k 144hz g-sync ıps panels' prices go down ? ( And meanwhile i can save up for a better gpu.) Or just get the xl2720z? It won't be used only on fps games. Wıll be using on rpg and such aswell which a person wants some quality images too you know.
As last, if u suggest a 1080p 27 inch 144 hz one. Which one shall i buy? Benq xl2720z or ASUS VG278HE. Asus one is actually cheaper but got 2 ms instead of 1ms response time.
