my asus laptop doesnt display on the monitor.When i connect with a vga to another monitor it displays.What would the problem b

recently i connected my asus laptop to a TV with a vga cable.It worked fine and displayed both on the tv and laptop screen.Afterwards when i disconnected it would not display on the laptop screen.When i connect on the tv it displays normally.What would be the problem with the laptop screen?

could be a bad or disconnected video cable from motherboard to screen or a bad screen.

Consult your laptop's manual for the key combination for enabling/disabling built-in display. Usually it's some "Fn" + Function-key -combination.
