I wanted to thank all of you who helped me over the last 3 months design the system I eventually built for my son.

he is SOOOO happy, and your advice was invaluable.

Here's the final build specs, if you care. Not listed are 3 SSDs and a 3TB SATA I had, and his monitor mouse and keyboard.

I wanted to stay under $900, and I went over by about $130.

oh well, the machine screams and he's in heaven.

the system is meant to play games at max settings at 1080 and record for youtube.

actually it was slightly cheaper, as the motherboard came free wight he processor during a limited time deal, thanks to user jas340
