Help: monitor problem

I have a Benq rl2455hm (brand new) and every time i play a game for 4-5 min the monitor's screen turns black if you could please help me I would gladly appreciated.

does it do it when browsing the net or any other windows programs? do you have or can borrow a compatible monitor to your system to see if it does same or not to see if monitor or videocard issue?
