Half of monitor is screen tearing/stretching/vertical lines

My monitor has recently had an issue with exactly half of screen tearing and being distorted, even when I unplug it from my PC. I left it overnight and turned on the monitor the next day and the problem was still there. Then I turned it off, plugged it back in, turned on my PC and it worked fine. Now its acting up again as a type this. It seems to be totally random. Here is a few pictures. Any ideas?

Edit: Forgot to say its a really old Sony LCD monitor

What GPU are you using? Also, have you tried uninstalling the GPU drivers and reinstalling them?

I have 2 GTX 460's running in SLI. And yes i did reinstall them. The monitor is still messed up even when I unplug it from the computer.
