I bought my first ASUS motherboard 5 weeks ago after reading how great they were supposed to be. Within the 5 weeks since the PC build the ethernet and audio adapters both failed. I returned the motherboard for an exchange at the retailer's store. The replacement board has a working ethernet adapter but the audio in it sounds like a tin can. I really didn't want to build the PC for a third time so a plugged in a USB audio adapter and the sound is good again. Having a bad experience with both of the only 2 ASUS motherboards I've had made me drop plans to use another ASUS in the PC build for a friend. I am switching to ASRock. I have complained to ASUS about their product quality.
