What is "Windows Installer" folder in the windows file directory and can I get rid of it?

So I was doing a cleanup on my pc and checking what was taking up space by using "spacesniffer" and i noticed that windows installer file directory was taking up 25 gigabytes of my limited ssd space. Is there any way i can get rid of it without any problems? I would love to get that space back.

I am on Windows 10 by the way; I upgraded from windows 7.

That 25GB must be the backup of your Windows 7 installation, which gives you the ability to rollback into windows 7 but only within 3 Months according to Microsoft. To cleanup that this has a nice tutorial
