How do I test my monitors resolution, response time and refresh rate

Hey, today is my birthday and I was given a new monitor and I wanted to know how to test my Response time Refresh Rate and resolution so I can tell which to use for my main gaming monitor please help.

what monitors do you have? some tests require professional equipment in order to be conducted. however there are some test you can run yourself. check these ones here.
