S22A300N support VGA-HDMI for graphics card

Hi I got an old monitor Samsung S22A300N that uses VGA, I was thinking could I use HDMI ? I got GeForce gtx 750ti windforce graphics card, and I know it supports it but, would be there any problems if I connect VGA to my monitor and use HDMI +VGA to connect to graphics card ?

just get a vga female to dvi male adapter or vga male to dvi male cable. hdmi also carries sound which your monitor does not support.
