Display Driver keeps failing and Recovering

I recently upgraded my GPU to a Gigabyte xtreme 970. I did the DDU clean uninstall thing too and it still keeps failing and recovering. I don't get any screen flickers or blinking. A message just pops up saying the display driver failed and has successfully recovered.

Hello... 1) Try re-plugging the card into your MB a few times.
2) un-do the screw from the case for a even fit in the MB slot.
3) what PS are you using with this setup?
4) where are you getting the Driver from?
5) what is your OS version? x64?

Ok I'll, try re-plugging the card tomorrow as it is pretty late right now. Sorry, what do you mean by "PS"?
I got my GPU from newegg.com. My OS is windows 10 x64

Also, why should I un-do the screws from the case? Does it affect how it's placed?

Hello... PS = power supply
Yes, I have seen miss-alignment issues with the MB slots because the Case and GPU screw holes do not match up... the GPU bracket can be easily bent to match holes.

Hello... Your PS should have enough Power for your system... You should try FIRST the MFG'r Nvidia driver version that came with the card, make sure your OS is not auto downloading the "Microsoft" suggested driver.

Hello... if you have "rubbing alcohol" on the shelf, use that to clean the GPU gold connectors Too... there are a lot small connections there that need to be made.

Hello... Also a good point is to Check/Update your MB BIO's for these new 900 series NVidia models... this has helped a lot of people here real fast.

I also forgot to mention that I can still run games fine without the display driver failing it's just when I'm like browsing the internet is when it starts popping the message up.

Updating the MB BIOS fixed the problem, thanks!
