The presentation for "Defense Grid 2: Enhanced VR Edition" showed the same tower defense battles for the original game in a special VR version that includes a scale model of the entire level created for the Oculus Rift HMD.

I think the already existing tower defense/FPS series Sanctum would be excellent in VR. (as would dungeon defenders!) This looks very similar to sanctum, minus having an avatar during the waves.

Sanctum and Defense Grid are two completely different styles of the TD genre.

This is the kind of stuff I want from VR. I'm not super excited about First Person games. However, Cities: Skylines, Tropico, Banished...I wanna play god games with depth.
