Acer R240HY bidx 23.8-Inch

Hello, good day.

I was looking for a new monitor and stumbled upon the Acer R240HY. It's very cheap for what it offers but a 120 euro's is still a risky buy in my opinion. I do not want to be wasting money, so..

Does anyone have experience with this monitor? I've as many good as bad reviews and it's really hard to come to an conclusion.

Actually it is a really good monitor. Full HD 24" and on top of that IPS, not to mention it has VGA, DVI, HDMI so all types of connectivity are there. Good brightness and contrast levels, so actually quite a decent monitor for the price.

Okay, okay. That does sound good indeed. But the price still bothers me. Especially the way you describe it being very good. Almost too good?

How is the stability of the thing? i've read some reviews saying it bleeded on both (the same) monitors and such. Just wondering; is this is a common thing on this model?

Pretty sure someone got a faulty unit and wrote this. It will be a normal monitor with no problems not to mention you will have 2 years of warranty and customer protection if it's faulty thus you will be able to exchange it for something else.

I was gonna do the 2 year warranty, but that doesn't "ship" to the netherlands. -sigh-

No problems! If you want a guaranteed good monitor, then look at Dell U2412 or if you can afford ite U2414.
