I bought an EVGA GTX 760 off ebay and after waiting all week I received it today. Yay! "Hmm, that package seems a little small, and I can feel the GPU just holding the bag.. :/ Yes, it was sent in the anti-static bag with bubble wrap and then placed in a black shipping bag. Really!?!? Is it not common sense to ship something like this in a box?

Bracket/mount got bent as you can see from the pictures. Even if I was to bend them back I don't think I would want to put this thing in my rig. Who knows what else could have happened.

sounds like you need to contact the seller and demand a full refund for shipping negligence. not sure if the seller can get reinbursed by the shipping company due to poor packing but honestly that is not your concern. if they want the item back they would need to pay the shipping as well (though if its broken there is no point really)

we ship on ebay quite often and that is certainly not kosher. it would have been shipped in bubble wrap in a box with at least 3-4 inches of dead space / packing around it as is standard shipping protocol for anything fragile.

The seller did accept my request to return the item quickly. It even includes a return shipping label, so no problems there. Strange that he has 100% feedback and everything yet ships something like this. :S This could have been easily avoided.
