I know there are a lot of questions about this, but nothing I found on eyesight.
Here's the deal.
I have a 22.5" monitor on 1080p and poor eyesight. I have to lean forward to see all the petty stuff on it. I was thinking of getting a new monitor, better something like 27" so that I can sit much farther and never strain my eyes (I have glasses, yes). I was thinking about getting 27" 1080p, as the pixels would be huge compared to what I have now (I don't think I would be nitpicking all the little details due to it being 27" on a 1080p). But what I see now is that 27" 1440p is just 150$ more expensive, so I'm thinking - why not go with that?
The thing is, my PC would not be able to sustain normal fps in a game at 1440p, so it is more like an investment. For now, I'd stick with 1080p on a 27" 1440p monitor for gaming or 1440p for desktop.
Is 1080p resolution on a 27" 1440p monitor any different from 1080 27" monitor resolution?
How big are the things on a 27" 1440p monitor? As I understand, it's just as native as 1080p for 24", so wouldn't it be that I would have the same 22.5" 1080p monitor but on a larger scale (meaning I still wouldn't be able to see anything due everything being to small)?
Thanks in advance

My recommendation would be to go get yourself computer glasses. Tell your optomitrist how far the monitor is form your eyes and he will make you lenses that focus at that distance. 40" for me. Since bifocals give me wicked headaches I have 3 pairs of glasses. Seeing, Reading, and computer.
I cant wait until Dr's can just grow me new eyeballs.... I hate glasses
