Hi! just bought the XPS 15 9550 and I was looking for a low profile SD card that doesn't stick out. I tried on Amazon and there are MBP 13 and 15 versions, with different size so I don't really know ehich best fits for the dell. Any advice? Thank you

that laptop takes an sd card but i do not think there are different sizes to them.

either it's an sd card or it's some other card. i have never heard of a "low profile" sd card. they have micro sd but they are not the same and would need an adapter to work which is the same size as a standard sd card.

edit: maybe something like this would work for what you are thinking http://www.amazon.com/Low-profile-microSD-card-adapter-Raspberry/dp/B00AKO3EVS

it uses a micro sd card and let's it fit into a normal sd slot but is only half the length of an sd card. never used one but it looks interesting enough.

Look at these two:

no idea about those. they say they are made for a mac book and are formatted for them out of the box.

i have no experience with them so i can't say whether you can reformat it and use it on something else. it certainly looks like a cut in half sd card and the price is pretty good. but i have no idea if they would work on a xps laptop.
