Hello,

I just installed 64 bit on my laptop. I installed Steam and all the games in there and I pirated Assassin's Creed III. To play AC3 I got the error 0xc000007b. So, I searched for some stuff that could solve that error. I replaced some files in system32 which I downloaded from the internet. I was too stupid to not make a backup from those files, now I can't play all my games anymore except for Euro Truck Simulator 2. Now I want the old files back and I want to know how I can solve the error (in the GOOD way), so I can play my games AND maybe AC3. Do you guys have an idea?

Just in case, my specs are:

Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
Intel Core i7 620M 2.67Ghz Dual core
Nvidia NVS 5100M
6GB RAM 1600Mhz

Thanks in advance!

Matthijs

Copy the files from another system with the same version of Windows, may need to do it using a Linux boot disk since the files may be in use by the system.

This forum won't help with getting pirated games running.

Ahh, that's understandable. I'll figure it out, thank you
