YouTube videos will not load on any browser.

I'm not sure if 'Windows 10' is the correct category, but this doesn't seem to happen on my other OS.

My problem is about half of the time I try to watch a YouTube video it will load the page, but the video itself will just stay spinning for hours. Twitch.tv works and Facebook videos will play, so I don't believe it's a network issue. If I open about 10 different videos in different tabs about 1 out of 10 play as normal, but the others will stay loading. Sometimes if I leave multiple videos open, after a while they will all start playing at once.

I've tried multiple different browsers (chrome, IE, edge,) and they all have the same problem. I've tried another internet connection, same issue.

uninstall flash and give it a try.

they should work anyway without flash. if they work now, then you know it is flash related and a new install may clear it up. i don't use flash at all and have no problem viewing web content 99% of the time. i simply avoid the few places that have not converted to html 5.

i have noticed that some sites start blocking and/or warning you of old flash versions. it's possible youtube has started doing this as well. just a guess but a lot of sites do this now if you are not updated on flash.

Uninstalling flash seems to have worked for now, though sometimes it works fine for a few hours, then returns.

I'll update if the issue continues.

no problem. sounded like a flash problem to me. it's time for flash to go the way of the dodo. you will find very few places that are still strictly flash. mostly they are some of the smaller porn sites. but the bigger ones have moved to html5 as well.

otherwise you should still be able to view the vast majority of videos on the web without flash

I came here having the same problem in 2018, for future knowledge my problem was
1.youtube loaded super slow(actually timed out) and only showed the icon and four round circles in the upper right of the window(loaded from cache)
2.couldnt log into google or youtube
my proxy was blocking the site and for good measure I deleted my cookies and it fixed it.
