I believe they offer a free download as a trial via their website. Just go to blizzard, make an account, and there should be an option to download it through their client there. Keep in mind it is a limited trial and to continue you will have to pay whatever their going subscription fee is.

As for still alive- of course it is.

If you were asking for piracy help, shame on you. Pay for your stuff like a grownup, not a petty thief.
