I'm thinking of upgrading my 27inch 1080p monitor to a 1440p g-sync, would it be worth it considering I sit about 6 feet away (bottom of my bed)? Obviously g-sync would be cool but I don't really play twitch shooters and I'd want to hook up my PS4(I know it doesn't use g-sync). Am I going to be noticing the boost in ppi? Is it worth upgrading?

I went from Asus VG278HE [1080p 144 Hz] to Asus ROG Swift [1440p 144 Hz G-SYNC Monitor] both 27 inches. I play games like Battlefield 4, CSGO, GTA V, and Witcher 3. I saw the benefits of the monitor in all these games just because of 78% more screen space. When I tried going back to playing on 1080p, I just started getting some headaches. In my experience, it was worth every penny to upgrade to 1440p with G-SYNC, specially now that the IPS version is out.
