Hi all.

I will be upgrading my computer (very) soon and I need help with my decision. I am on a very, VERY tight budget as you can already tell from the GPUs listed in the title.

I have three systems that I'm looking at:

3.2 GHz Intel Core i5-4460 Quad-Core
12GB of 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GT 740 Graphics (4GB)
2TB 7200 rpm Hard Drive

OR

3.4 GHz Intel Core i5-4460 Quad Core
8GB DDR3 RAM
1TB 7200 rpm Hard Drive
NVIDIA GeForce GTX760 Graphics

OR

3.5 GHz AMD A10-7800 Quad-Core CPU
16GB of DDR3 RAM
Integrated AMD Radeon R7 Graphics
3TB 7200 rpm Hard Drive

The last two cost the same price, and the first one is about $100 more.

I'm not very saavy as far as the inner workings of PCs, but I do know that I need something that is going to be able to do a TON of multi-tasking. Photo editing mainly, some video editing, and very light gaming. Other than that, it will just be for every day use, but I'm known to have sometimes 10 tabs open at one time while surfing the web, so it needs to be capable of that.

If necessary, I can save up to get an i7.

The computer I have now I have had for over 10 years, so that will give you an idea of how long I hold on to PCs, and it's just too old and dated and can't handle what I need it to anymore.

Thanks for your help in advance.

the second choice is superior by a long shot, i5 4460 + gtx 760 is actually very decent

get that, then save your money and upgrade to an i7 down the line

That's actually the one I have been leaning towards because I've read that the difference between a GTX and a GT is tremendous.

Thank you for your help.

Take this one, the first option is a GT 740, it's a bad graphic card for gaming if you want to play demanding games, while the GTX 760 it's not bad and you can easily play everything on MEDIUM-HIGH 1080p 60fps. And if you could choose a new i5 from the new generation or save for a 4th generation i7 it would be great.
