Benq RL2455hm can't find dvi or HDMI output from EVGA GTX980

Hi All,

I switched on my computer this morning and found that my monitor was no longer recognizing dvi output from my graphics card. It had been working perfectly since I got the rig about a month ago.

I run a 2 monitor setup (both Benq RL2455hm) and the second monitor was still working as normal (I checked it with both dvi cables and Display port cables to the graphics card). So the graphics card, all cables and the second monitor are all functional.

I noticed another issue also, neither monitor will recognize HDMI output from the graphics card. I've tried 3 different cables and can't figure out why it isn't working.

My question is, has anyone encountered similar issues with a monitor or specifically this Benq model?

Any help would be really appreciated!

did you try using the dvi & displayport cables on the 1st monitor to see if it works or not?

I found the problem.

It was just the display settings which had been accidentally changed when my partner pushed a bunch of buttons trying to turn the screen off.

Everything works fine now.

good. tell partner not to push bunch of buttons next time. tell partner it was an O.F.U. operator. f*ck. up.
