Second monitor is not picked up

I am having a problem getting the set up to work with dual screens. The specs are as follows:
AMD Radeon graphics processor
12 GB RAM
x64 processor
500GB hard drive storage space
windows 10 home operating system version 10.0.10586
3.50GHz AMD 2 core processor

monitor: primary:lg 22mp65
secondary:LG 22M37A-B

secondary is conecting with an vga cable
primary with an vga cable and conected to my pc with an dvi to vga adapter (im not sure)
please help me

try the secondary monitor by itself with the primary monitor disconnected to make certain it works. try with vga then with the dvi adapter.

if i put the other monitor in the adapter it works but the other 1 doesnt

with just the secondary monitor connected to the videocard, does it work using vga alone & with vga to dvi adapter?
