After upgrading to win 10 I lost sound. In devices, it tells me there's no device connected.

After upgrading to win 10 I lost sound. In devices, it tells me there's no device connected. It's not like I could uninstall and then re-install the card....I cannot find anything out about a sound card at all. I had no problem with my speakers when I was running win 8, (other than not liking win 8). Could win 10 just not be detecting the card? Any fix for this? Thanks in advance!

I agree with Colif. Right-click the Start button and click Device Manager. Click the > next to "Sound, video and game controlers" and look at the entries below. See what it says for your sound adapters, especially if you see the ! or ? to the left of them.
