Upgrade Win 7 to Win 10

I have $500 but I'm building a $400 gaming pc because windows is expensive. If I purchase windows 7, will I be able to upgrade to windows 10 for free? -Thanks

Yes. Sometime before July 28 2016.
But the price difference between Win 7 and Win 10 is tiny. Might as well just buy Win 10, and bypass the whole Update thing.
