Using asus vg248qe monitor but display port input doesnt work anymore

i am using a msi gtx 670 pe with display port at 144hz with my asus vg248qe monitor. recently it stopped working so i couldnt use display port anymore. i can use hdmi. i just bought another display port cable to use 144hz again but still no signal and back on hdmi. help please.

can you borrow a monitor that has a displayport for testing purposes to see if it is your monitor's or your videocard's displayport that has stopped working?

i cant borrow one, i am the only one who has a display port in my house

the only thing that was weird be4 it stopped working was, i either tried to dual screen it or stop dual screening and then it acted funny then it stopped working

I tried it and it didnt work, I found out something weird. i unistalled the drivers and i am able to use my display port on my asus monitor but when i use extend and use my monitor and my tv, my tv will become my main monitor and then my asus monitor becomes black screen.
Also if I install nvidia drivers. my asus monitor becomes black

where did you get the videocard drivers from?

the nvidia website. i searched up nvidia drivers and click manually find my drivers and download the latest one
