My Sharp tv won't notice my hp pavilion

I use an Devi to HDMI converter to connect them. Please help me.

I think you mean DVI to HDMI, and unfortunately that doesn't always work because your computer is expecting a monitor and it instead has a TV.

Try first pressing windows key+p and selecting expand, and if that doesn't work you need to give us all the specifications of your TV and computer
