Had to recover my HP Elite but went back to Windows 8... how to go back to Windows 10?

Hi Guys,

I had to recover my PC already upgraded to Windows 10. I have created recovery disk and reinstalled the system.

Tried to follow Windows 10 instructions, but it reinstalled Windows 8.

How can I get my Windows 10 back? Do I have to wait weeks untile I get the offer again? Is there a faster way?

Thanks Quixit, would I need a serial number for this? I can't find it on the comp.

no, since you already had win 10 on that machine, when you get to the part in installer that asks for a serial number, just click "I don't have one" and win 10 will activate itself after its installed. Microsoft have records of your machine already.
