MOBO: Gigabyte GA-X99P-SLI (update utility doesn't find any updated drivers)

In my Device Manager, it lists Other devices -> Base System Device as having no driver. The properties then says the Location is PCI Slot 2 (PCI bus 4, device0, function0) and its status is "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
There are no compatible drivers for this device.
To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver."

A little digging also tells me Hardware IDs are:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1577&SUBSYS_11112222&REV_00
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1577&SUBSYS_11112222
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1577&CC_088000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1577&CC_0880

When I go to pcidatabase.com, I can see the vendor as Intel (no surprise) but nothing meaningful for the device ID. Also, I have had Intel scan for updates needed for my chipset, and nothing is found. I am totally stumped and could use some help.

Thank you for the quick reply thx1138... I dont currently plan on using Thunderbolt, and so am leaning towards leaving it alone - you sure there is no adverse impact of leaving one of these things as a missing device?
