I am buying an Xbox One and I currently have a 31" 720p LCD TV. Is it worth selling the TV for a 1080p TV instead? I am viewing it from a fairly close distance.

Thanks in advance.

While this is true as far as gaming is concerned, if you're dedicated to hit certain graphics settings and framerates, an Xbox One is still very good value, if you factor in everything it offers. A gaming PC for the same price, doesn't even come close.

But yes, it holds true. And I personally own a Xbox One, and a gaming PC, and maxing out games is a wonderful feeling. That doesn't mean Xbox One is unplayable though, even though that's not the word you used, but that's what it looks like to me, what you're trying to say.

Ignoring specs, what if OP has got friends that are on the same platform, then your advise wouldn't really make any...

Should I get the Samsung 32" 1080p LED Smart TV or the Samsung 32" 1080p HD LED Smart TV?

I am not sure what the difference is, but the second one costs $100 more.

I am only using it for the Xbox One.

You would have to be more specific then just mentioning their names. A link to both would be great
