Hi, Z97 Pro Gamer getting Secure Boot Violation red screen

I hope someone can help me. Yesterday I was getting an error coming up in Device Manager saying there was a problem with the PCI Simple Communication controller has no driver and I'd noticed some USB ports had stopped working so today after research I decided to re-install the Intel Management drivers from the Asus motherboard disk, unfortunately when it asked to re-boot the system I'm getting a red screen 'Secure Boot Violation' The system found unauthorized changes on firmware, operating system or UEFI drivers (and some more stuff about booting from another drive)

Please does anyone know how I can fix this as completely stuck and can't boot up?

Thanks for any advice.

Solution
one fix might be to update your bios, it worked in this post: https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?84019-Help-with-Secure-Boot-Violation.

you can find them here: https://www.asus.com/support/Download/1/45/6/30/vXGtVcNXVw2AuxpI/45/

You should have looked on the Intel site for newer drivers, you shouldn't have used the ones on disc as they probably been upgraded since. Or used the ones on the Asus support site.

Download and create a win 10 install disc (Just as a boot disc). You can get it from Here
burn a DVD if you can (USB might be fun to install off on your bios, the Z97 bios doesn't boot from USB unless you change the USB slots to fully activated)
change bios to boot from dvd or usb

boot from dvd, on the second screen...

boot from dvd, on the second screen of installer, after screen asking for language settings, select repair this pc, NOT INSTALL
select troubleshoot
select advanced options
Run start up repair - this will ask for logon details and maybe fix the problem.

Now I would suggest system restore at this point but there is a good chance it won't work. so try flashing bios first and see if that fixes it as next step would be a reset of windows 10. You lose all your programs doing a reset.

to do a reset, boot from installer again, select repair this pc on 2nd screen again, but instead of pressing troubleshoot, select reset. You can either keep all your files (think libraries) and settings, or wipe it all.
either choice, win 10 will save what it needs to and then restart and reinstall win 10
